Known as Villa Neo, this home is one of the largest luxury mansions on St. Barthélemy, a Caribbean Island with many a large luxury mansion to its name. With two movie theaters, a night club, and a huge infinity pool, the home typifies high-end tropical living.
The home recently went on the market with an asking price of $80 million. This puts it at the higher end of the pricing spectrum, even on an island famous as a pricy tourist destination and the home of many celebrities, business moguls and sports stars. Villa Neo was built in 2018 by the Scottish entrepreneur Doug Barrowman. He has decided to sell the home, as he spends most of his time on his super-yachts.
At 17,000 square feet, the home is one of the largest on the island. It is likely to stay that way for quite some time, as St. Barthélemy changed their zoning regulations so that homes bigger than 12,000 feet can no longer be constructed.
The home has six bedrooms, all of which have a private terrace. There are 22 foot ceilings as well as a meticulously groomed interior courtyard. Barrowman has at times rented out the home for as much as $4 million per year.
The interior is spacious and ultra-modern. There’s art throughout the main living spaces. As far as amenities go, the home has two movie theaters, one of which can double as a nightclub. Outside, there’s a 95-foot infinity pool, complete with a jacuzzi and a swim-up bar.
The home is built on the northern end of St. Barts and has stunning ocean views in every direction. It is also close to the neighborhood of St. Jean, which is known for having some of the best beaches on the island.
