Famous New York fashion designer, Tommy Hilfiger, has recently sold his luxurious Greenwich mansion for $45 million. The home is known as Round Hill and was originally built in 1939. A perfect blend of history, modern amenities, and gorgeous French-Normandy construction, the home handily justifies its asking price.
Hilfiger first moved to the Greenwich area in the 1980s and has lived in numerous homes in the area ever since. In recent years he and his wife, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, have taken to flipping luxury homes in the region. They bought Round Hill in 2010 for $31.375 million according to the records. Since then they have made extensive renovations, restoring much of the home’s original beauty.
The Hilfingers extensively remodeled the estate with new all new plumbing and ventilation. It has a wonderful rustic vintage atmosphere, while also being thoroughly modernized and full of amenities.
With its sumptuous French Normandy design, some parts of the home, like this dining room, look like they were taken directly from a country chateau.
The mansion’s interior is richly decorated. From the carved wooden staircase as seen in this entryway to the vibrant, Turkish-inspired home movie theatre.
Located on a 22-acre estate, the home features beautiful gardens, a pool, and a tennis court.
